Chris Rosati Yoos

Artist, Photographer, and Instructor in Columbus, Ohio

Introducing Columbus-based Fine Artist, Chris Rosati Yoos, whose captivating drawings and paintings celebrate the beauty and vulnerability of "all creatures great and small" in our world.

With a lifelong passion for art since the age of 5, Chris transitioned to a full-time artist in 2017. Her talent was recognized by RAW, a curator from LA, leading to a showcase at the prestigious "IMPACT" event in Columbus, Ohio in 2019. Chris's accolades include being a finalist in Art and Color 365’s 2023 Fall Magazine Drawing Competition and becoming an Associate Member of Artists for Conservation (AFC), a renowned environmental artist group.

Recently, Chris was invited to exhibit her work at the Sean Christopher Gallery, focusing on Africa's majestic yet endangered animals. She is also delving into the world of children's books, featuring lovable pups in her upcoming projects.

Drawing inspiration from her travels, particularly in Africa, Chris captures the essence of wildlife through her art, aiming to foster a deeper connection with viewers and raise awareness about conservation efforts.

Despite a successful marketing career spanning over 30 years, Chris found solace in art after facing health challenges, including multiple surgeries. Now, she dedicates her time to teaching art to individuals of all ages and continues her wildlife creations using colored pencil, watercolor, ink, and mixed media.

Chris's mission is to showcase her art in galleries worldwide, shedding light on global wildlife conservation and contributing a portion of her earnings to support these vital efforts.
